Sketch Up Model Inspired by Texture Drawing

Words:
Top: Elevate
Bottom: Command
The design of this structure has been shaped mainly by my drawing where it has been inspired by the words: 'elevate' and 'command'.  The 'command' can be seen through the use of vertical pillars which suggests a determined, straightforward path. The use of the light, airy glass reflects the 'elevate' where the triangular shapes direct upwards towards the sky. There is a definite contrast between the character of the two elements, which adds to its interesting features despite the simplicity of design.

Materials:

This building is made from two materials, concrete and the glass. Each of the columns are formed individually from concrete, a heavy element which juxtaposes against the light airy nature of he glass.
